One of Wisconsin's goat producers, Pat Weerts, has developed an excellent website--a virtual encyclopedia of goat knowledge. Her Goat Dairy Library has information on many areas of interest, including herd health. It also links to many other websites where further information can be obtained.

Deworming
Free parasite testing is currently available through MidAmerica Ag Research. Intervet is currently providing funding to cover the $5 sample cost. To have an animal tested, download a form for small ruminants, fill it out and send it in a baggie (to keep dry) with the samples. Include your fax or email address for the lab. The lab will email, fax or send the results back.
